Overview

Cherry Studio is a cross-platform AI client that supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with mobile support planned for the future. Data is stored locally, so there is no need to worry about privacy leaks. All of your usage data is kept on your device and will not be uploaded to any third-party server. It also supports calling locally deployed models. Cherry Studio now includes a knowledge base feature, supporting the import of files in multiple formats as well as web imports, helping you build a personalized knowledge base.

1. Connecting the Cherry Studio AI Assistant Tool to the 4All API Aggregation Platform First, you need to obtain an API KEY from 4All API.com.

  1. API KEY acquisition: Go to (4All API.com) to obtain the key

  2. Quick start: For quick use, click “Chat” next to the token to import and use it with one click.

Friendly reminder: You can select OpenAI as the model provider. The 4All API aggregation platform📝 is fully compatible with OpenAI and Claude interface protocols, and supports seamless integration with more than 200 AI models!

Tutorial Method 1: Configure Using the Built-in New API

  • After downloading Cherry Studio, click Settings in the bottom-left corner

  • API Key setting (required): Open Settings → select {Model Services} → choose {New API} to configure. Enter the endpoint URL (https://sg.4All API.com) → enter the API key (generated and obtained from the token section in the API dashboard). Once configured, you can use all models.

  • Model selection (required): After setting the API key, go to the Models page and click Manage to add the models you need.

Open Settings → in the model service list, click Add to add a custom provider.

  • API Key setting (required): Open Settings → select {Model Services} → choose {4All API API} to configure. Enter the endpoint URL (https://sg.4All API.com) → enter the API key (generated and obtained from the token section in the API dashboard). Once configured, you can use all models.

  • Model selection (required): After setting the API key, go to the Models page and click Manage to add the models you need.

  • After completing the above settings, click “Assistant” in the upper-left corner to create your conversation

  • Create a chat box, then select the AI model you want to use to start chatting
