The verification process here is pretty slow, and I’m not really sure why. Maybe it’s routing through overseas servers for certain checks instead of sending requests directly to 4All API’s servers locally. I haven’t run into this issue with verification in other AI tools or clients, which has always been fast. Please be patient when verifying! It may just be Cursor’s own mechanism. Once the first connection is established, responses afterward are very fast.

Usage Recommendations
Section titled “Usage Recommendations”When choosing models, it’s recommended to use a combination of large and small models from the same vendor. For example:
gpt5+gpt-5-mini+gpt-5-nano
Likewise, if you prefer Claude or Gemini, just choose a mix of 2 to 3 large and small models from the same provider.
The auto-select option on the right is shown as turned off here, but in actual use, it’s recommended to keep it on. Let Cursor dynamically choose the best model.

2025-8-13: In the latest version of Cursor, the free plan can still use the connected API.
