After releasing version 1.0, I assumed I would have to implement the rotation feature myself. So I sat down and learned alongside ChatGPT. I didn’t ask it to write the code; I asked it to teach me. With the help of a patient, interactive tutor, I finally accomplished something I hadn’t managed to do by reading books or asking my mathematician friends for help—I learned how to use quaternions well enough to get the app running.
So even though I’m outsourcing a great deal of the thinking to AI, that doesn’t mean learning comes to a halt. In fact, it pushes me to learn more. I really like that outcome.
